River just crossable.
breezy/sunny - fairly warm.
worked all day no sun[set?]
now calm
clear.
midges.
very tired
sore eyes.

long grass stalk line - thin
end of one stuck up wide
end of another - 6 paces
overall length.

Heron banking overhead.
